Recommended for couples looking for a getaway

This hotel is excellent you really feel the quality in every corner. The rooftop pool was amazing after a long day out and about, it gives you a perfect view to unwind. The breakfast was at a cute spot next door so you can fuel up properly before hitting the beach.

It wasn't cheap, but for the comfort and location it's still acceptable.

Soho Playa exceeded my expectations in several areas. The location is prime, just a block from 5th Avenue, which made exploring the area super convenient. The rooftop pool, though small, provided a nice escape with great views. Staff members were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to assist. I loved the breakfast options. the omelets and fresh fruit were tasty, and the outdoor seating made for a lovely environment. However, I experienced inconsistent Wi-Fi in my room, which became frustrating when I needed to work. The room, while spacious, had some uncomfortable furniture that felt cheap. The shower didn't have consistent hot water, and the pool area could use better maintenance to enhance the overall experience. I enjoyed my stay, but these improvements could make it even better.

Had an awesome group trip with friends! We loved lounging at Mamitas Beach Club and playing a round at Gran Coyote Golf. The staff really made our stay special with friendly service and the rooms were cozy and clean. Just a heads up, the restaurant Enzo's is perfect for breakfast – definitely check it out!

We struggled with the wifi in our room. it was pretty unreliable, which was frustrating at times.

Warm welcoming staff, spacious rooms.

I stayed for 5 nights in the King Room. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, and the A/C worked great. The fridge was a lifesaver for keeping drinks cold. The bathroom was big, but I could tell the shower head needed replacing as it sprayed in weird directions. But the staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Some furniture felt kinda cheap, but overall, it was decent for what we needed.

i've stayed in playa del carmen before, but this time was different. the hotel had spacious rooms with great amenities and a super helpful staff. i loved how close it was to 5th avenue, making it easy to explore the area.

I truly appreciated the beautiful decor throughout the Soho Playa Hotel. The inviting atmosphere made it easy for me to relax, and the location is perfect, just minutes away from Fifth Avenue and the beach.

WiFi connection could be more reliable and stable.

The location is excellent, being very central yet away from the noise, and the room was spacious with great air conditioning. However, the overall experience was marred by issues like a broken balcony door lock, unclean room on arrival, and the WiFi cutting out frequently. Additionally, we encountered continuous drilling early in the morning and pool closures for private events without notice.
